Adams State Wins Three National Division II Awards
NEW ORLEANS – Adams State’s Damon Martin swept men’s and women’s Division II National Cross Country Coach of the Year honors while Adams State’s Reuben Mwei and Seattle Pacific’s Jessica Pixler were named National Cross Country Athletes of the Year Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Western State's Vandenbusche to Enter USTFCCCA Hall of Fame
Duane Vandenbusche, who spent 36 seasons in a coaching capacity for the Western State cross country and track and field teams, will be a part of the 15th induction class into the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He will be formally inducted during the association's annual convention Dec. 16 in Orlando.

Duits Memorial Service Set for Tuesday
Memorial services for assistant cross country coach and standout Mountaineer runner Lisa Thomas Duits will be held tomorrow, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Mountain Range High School in Westminster, Colo.
