2007 USTFCCCA Men's Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – Abilene Christian, winners of the last two men’s NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, has been crowned with another title: the 2007 NCAA Division II USTFCCCA Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team of the Year, announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

NEW ORLEANS – When it comes to dynasties in collegiate athletics several teams come to mind; Kenyon swimming, UCLA basketball, North Carolina soccer or Iowa wrestling. However, if you’re a track and field or cross country fan, then you know how hand-in-hand the words cross country and Adams State go together.

Adams State, Western State Win Titles at North Central Regional
Vermillion, S.D. – November 3, 2007 – The defending national champions Adams State College won the 2007 NCAA North Central women’s regional and Western State College won the men’s North Central regional. The team title for Adams State was their fifth in six years, and the men’s title for the Mountaineers was their first since 2004.

ASC Hispanic Heritage Day showcases culture
ALAMOSA, Colo.-- Adams State College’s Hispanic Heritage Day will showcase cultural expressions ranging from Mexican folk dance to weaving to low riders. Sponsored by Adams State College and Grizzly Athletics, the event will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, from noon to 3 p.m. in the field north of Plachy Hall (Stadium & Sunset.) Admission is free. Activities will move to the Plachy Fieldhouse, in the event of inclement weather.
