Follow the Skyhawks at the NCAA Elite Eight Tournament
No. 6 Fort Lewis (33-3), the first ever RMAC women’s basketball team to advance to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight Tournament, will face No. 13 Seattle Pacific (27-3) Tuesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. (MT) at the St. Joseph Civic Center in St. Joseph, Mo. The Skyhawks are also only the second RMAC team to reach 30 wins in a season (Fort Hays State, 34-2, 1990-91).
The first semifinal game on Wednesday will tip off at 5 p.m. (FLC/SPU winner vs. Arkansas Tech/Franklin Pierce winner), followed by the second semifinal game at 7:30 PM (Gannon/Tusculum winner vs. Emporia State/Michigan Tech winner). Both semifinal games will be aired on ESPNU. Friday’s championship game at 6 p.m. will air on ESPN2.
