Three RMAC Women’s Basketball Teams Selected to NCAA Tournament
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second straight year and third time in four years, three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams have been selected to the NCAA regional tournament. The bracket, announced Sunday night on www.ncaa.com, will feature No. 4 ranked Fort Lewis College, seeded No. 2 in the tournament, fourth seed Nebraska-Kearney, and sixth seed CSU-Pueblo. Minnesota-State Mankato received the top seed and will play host to the 2009 NCAA Central Regional women’s basketball tournament.

CSU-Pueblo Makes NCAA Tournament Third Time in Four Years
CSU-Pueblo defeated Colorado Mines Saturday night at the Colorado State Fair Events Center to receive an automatic bid to the NCAA regional tournament for the third time in four years. The ThunderWolves, the fourth seed in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, defeated third seed Colorado Mines, 62-42.

CSU-Pueblo Women Upset #4 Fort Lewis, 83-65
PUEBLO, Colo. – CSU-Pueblo (21-8) posted their 11th win in school history in the RMAC Shootout tournament as they defeated Fort Lewis College (26-3) Friday afternoon at the Colorado State Fair Events Center, 83-65. The Skyhawks, ranked fourth in the latest ESPN/USA Today poll and second in the NCAA Central Region, was the top seed in the RMAC basketball tournament while the ThunderWolves are seeded fourth.

PUEBLO, Colo. – Emily Dalton led Colorado Mines with 14 points and eight rebounds to help the Orediggers defeat Nebraska-Kearney, 63-56 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference semifinal game. Both teams are the 2008-09 RMAC East Divisional co-champions.

Connealy Hired as Chadron State's Women’s Basketball Coach
Tim Connealy, who has been a graduate assistant and assistant head coach at the University of Nebraska-Kearney the previous four seasons, has been hired as the head women’s basketball coach at Chadron State College, athletic director Brad Smith announced on Tuesday.
