Erika Quigley Headlines All-North Central Region Team

Denver, Colo.: St. Cloud State University's (Minn.) Erika Quigley headlines the 2006-07 Daktronics All-North Central Region team. The Huskies senior center was named to the all-region first team as well as being selected as the North Central Region Player of the Year. This is the third straight season that she has been named to the all-region first team and the fourth straight season she has received all-region honors. In her freshman season she was a second team selection.

The All-North Central Region team is comprised of players from the North Central Conference (NCC), the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). The NCC led the way with five players selected to the first and second team. The RMAC had three selections while the NSIC had two.

Joining Quigley on the All-North Central Region first team is Amanda Behnke from Concordia University (Minn.), Kierah Kimbrough from the University of North Dakota, Denise Lopez from Regis University (Colo.) and Diana Lopez from Regis University (Colo). Diana Lopez and Quigley are the only two selections who have been first team members in previous seasons. Behnke, Kimbrough and Denise Lopez are all first time all-region first team selections.

Selected to the All-North Central Region second team are Alison Adamson from Augustana College (S.D.), Brittany Fowler from Mesa State College (Colo.), Ashley Langen from the University of North Dakota, Katie LaViolette from Concordia University (Minn.) and Karen Theis from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
