Metro State College Advances to Championship Game
After 67-55 Win over CSU-Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. - March 3, 2007 - No.-three seed Metro State College out-rebounded second seed Colorado State University-Pueblo 44-33 on their way to a RMAC SHOOTOUT semi-final win Saturday night at the Colorado State Fair Events Center, 67-55.

Paige Powers and Rianna Harris led the Roadrunners, notching 15 and 16 points apiece.    All 15 points of Powers came from long range, as she made 5-of-7 three-pointers.  Stephanie Sauter came off the bench to dish out a game high five assists.

Kerry Lewis was the lone Thunderwolf to score in double digits.  She made 5-of-8 field goals and all four free throw attempts to go with her seven rebounds.

Metro State will play top-seed Regis University on Sunday, March 4 at the Colorado State Fair Events Center.  Tip-off is slated for noon.  Both women's and men's games will be broadcast on Altitude Sports and Entertainment.
