Lopers Win Tiebreaker and will Host 2007 RMAC Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - November 3, 2007 -
The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host the 2007 Rocky
Mountain Athletic Conference volleyball championships Nov. 9-11 in
Kearney, Neb. This is the Lopers sixth RMAC title since
1995. UNK earned a 17-2 record in the RMAC, tying Fort Lewis
College for the 2007 RMAC Co-Championship title. The title is
the Skyhawks fourth ever and first since 1994.
Nebraska-Kearney defeated Fort Lewis on Oct. 6 to win the
tie-breaker and earn the right to host.
The 2007 RMAC Championship Tournament will begin Nov. 9 at
Nebraska-Kearney. The winner of the RMAC Championship
Tournament will receive an automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA
Southwest Regional on Nov. 15-18.
