2010 RMAC Softball Championships Host Selected

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Metropolitan State College of Denver will host the 2010 RMAC Softball Tournament May 6-8. The Roadrunners lead the conference with a 29-2 record.

The RMAC Championships Committee approved the bid by Metro State, naming them tournament host.

The RMAC has instituted a pilot program to determine the hosts of RMAC tournaments.

In softball, volleyball and soccer, the highest seeded team with approximately three weeks remaining in the regular season and an approved bid is named host of the RMAC tournament.

The 2010 RMAC Softball Tournament will be played on the Auraria Field at Metro State and the Ranger Softball Field at Regis University. Tickets will be $5 for adults, $3 for students, children under five are free. Fans will also be able to watch some of the tournament via the B2 networks for $8 per game. More details will be available in the next few weeks.
