Metro State to Host
RMAC Men's & Women's Soccer Tournaments
Both enter respective tournaments as No. 1 seed

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Metro State is the host for both the
men's and women's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference soccer
championships, Nov. 2 and 4 at Auraria Field.
The Roadrunners earned the right to host and the top seeds in
both tournaments after clinching their respective conference
regular-season championships this past weekend.
The men are the top seed in the four-team tournament and play
No. 4- seed Colorado School of Mines in the second semifinal,
Friday at 7:30 p.m. No. 2-seed Fort Lewis takes on No. 3-seed
Regis in the first semifinal at 2:30 p.m.
The women's tournament has six teams with the top two seeds,
Metro State and CSU-Pueblo, receiving first-round byes. The
tournament begins with first-round games on Wednesday as No. 4-seed
Fort Lewis takes on No. 5-seed Regis in Durango, Colo., at 3 p.m.,
and No. 3-seed Colorado School of Mines hosts No. 6-seed New Mexico
Highlands in Golden at 5:30 p.m. The semifinals are then
played Friday at Auraria Field. No. 2-seed CSU-Pueblo plays
in the first semifinal at noon, against the winner of the No. 3/6
contest, while the Roadrunner women take on the No. 4/5 winner in
the second semifinal at 5 p.m.
Both championship matches are scheduled for Sunday
afternoon. The women kick off at noon, followed by the men at
2:30 p.m.
