2009-10 Rankings - Feb. 9, 2010 (Ranking #11)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After surviving some close calls last week, Arkansas Tech and Southern Indiana held onto their undefeated records and in turn, the top two spots in this week's NABC/Division II coaches poll for the third week in succession.

Arkansas Tech won an overtime game on the road at Southern Arkansas last week and then won a two-point decision over Arkansas-Monticello to improve to 21-0, while Southern Indiana came away victorious in a see-saw affair with Rockhurst Saturday to keep its perfect mark intact.  The No. 2 Screaming Eagles have two huge tests this week, beginning Tuesday night when they play a make-up game at No. 22 Drury.

Central Missouri, Minnesota State and Valdosta State all retained the next three spots, while Midwestern State won both ends of a home-and-home series with Tarleton State last week to move up to No. 6.  Augusta State vaulted back into the top 10 at No. 7 as did Kentucky Wesleyan at No. 8, while Mesa State reached the top 10 for the first time in school history at ninth.  Fort Hays State rounds out this week's top 10.

The two division leaders in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference - Indiana (Pa.) and East Stroudsburg, head up the second 10, followed by Bentley, Georgia College & State and Seattle Pacific.  Florida Southern checks in this week at No. 16, with Western Washington, Quincy, Metropolitan State and West Liberty complete the first 20 in the poll.

The final five teams in this week's rankings are Kutztown, Drury, Rollins, Augustana and the lone newcomer in the poll this week, Stonehill.

The NCAA will release its new weekly regional ranking on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
