2009-10 Rankings - Feb. 23, 2010 (Ranking #13)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Heading into the last week of the regular season for many teams, Arkansas Tech remains the top-ranked team in NCAA Division II in the latest NABC/Division II coaches poll, trailed by a group of teams who all figure to head up their respective regions when those rankings are released Wednesday afternoon.

Arkansas Tech, the last remaining unbeaten team in NCAA Division II, stays atop the rankings after winning twice a week ago.  That performance included an impressive 10-point win Saturday at Delta State that moved the Wonder Boys to 25-0 on the year.  Central Missouri is second this week, while Augusta State moved up to third and Kentucky Wesleyan to fourth.  Minnesota State rejoins the top five after falling out a week ago at No. 5.

Indiana (Pa.) heads up the second five, followed by Midwestern State, Valdosta State, Seattle Pacific and Southern Indiana, who dropped eight spots this week after seeing its undefeated run end early last week.  The 11th-ranked team this week is Florida Southern, with West Liberty, Rollins, Bentley and Fort Hays State coming in behind the Moccasins.

The next five teams are St. Cloud State, Georgia College & State, Stonehill, Augustana and Clark Atlanta, who returns to the rankings at No. 20.  The final five teams in this week's rankings are West Virginia State, Drury, Mesa State, Western Washington and Kutztown.

Three conferences will begin their conference tournaments this week, with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association being the first to start on Wednesday and the Great Lakes Valley Conference and Northeast-10 Conference starting their tournaments on Saturday.  The other conference that conduct post-season tournaments will get their events underway over the course of next week.

The NCAA will release its new weekly regional ranking on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
