NABC/Division II Coaches Poll (Dec. 8, 2009 - Regular season poll #3)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Seattle Pacific's win over top-ranked BYU-Hawaii, along with losses by three other teams in last week's top 10, has created a significant change at the top end of the new NABC/Division II coaches poll, as Central Missouri has moved to the top spot in the national rankings for the first time since 1980.
Bentley is sixth this week and BYU-Hawaii fell to seventh after its loss Saturday. The rest of the top 10 is occupied by Kutztown, Rollins and Arkansas Tech, who at 7-0 is off to its best start since the 1963-64 campaign.
Cal Poly Pomona remains at No.16 this week, while Winona State moved up to No. 17 after a week that included a road victory over then-No. 19 St. Cloud State. Georgia College & State (whose loss Monday is not reflected in the rankings) checks in at No. 18, followed by undefeated Midwestern State and Southern Indiana, the highest ranked newcomer in this week's poll.
