Four RMAC Men’s Basketball Teams Headed to NCAA Tournament
The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced tonight its 64-team bracket for the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Four RMAC teams earned bids to the tournament: No. 2 seed Mesa State (22-5), No. 5 seed Metro State (24-6), No. 6 seed New Mexico Highlands (20-10), and No. 8 seed Colorado Mines (17-11).

New Mexico Highlands led Metro State by as many as 19 points in the second half before Metro State went on a 29-13 run to close the game and win the 2010 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout championship, 83-79, Saturday night at the Colorado State Fair Events Center.
