The Metro State College Roadrunners won the 2009 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout title behind Jesse Wagstaff’s 22 points and six rebounds. Metro State, the top seed in this year’s tournament, defeated No. 3 seed Fort Lewis, 84-78 Saturday night at the Colorado State Fair Events Center.

Kirk Archibeque and DeAndre Lansdowne combined for 57 of Fort Lewis’ 92 points to win the second semifinal men’s game Saturday night at the Colorado State Fair Events Center. Fort Lewis, the No. 3 seed in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout tournament, improves to 24-8 on the season.

PUEBLO, Colo. – Eleventh ranked Metro State advanced to the 2009 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout championship game after they defeated CSU-Pueblo, 76-65, Friday evening. Metro State improves to 26-3 on the season while CSU-Pueblo closes their season at 15-14.
