CO-HOST NCAA DIVISION II
MEN'S GOLF SUPER REGIONALS AT FOX HOLLOW GOLF COURSE

GOLDEN, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines and Regis University
men's golf programs are preparing to co-host the 2007 NCAA Division
II Men's Golf Northwest/West Super Regional Championships from May
6-9 at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, Colo.
Admission is free to the public.
The Super Regional consists of the top eight teams from the
Northwest and the West Regions. The top five individuals in the
region not on those teams will also participate in the event. A
total of 90 golfers will tee it up at the Super Regional
Championships which begin with a practice round at Fox Hollow on
May 6.
Action is slated to begin on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00
am with groups going off the first tee on the Canyon Course and the
10th tee on the Meadows Course. Tee times will be every eight
minutes on each tee.
While two regions will be competing, they will not necessarily
compete against each other. Only the winning team from each region
will make this year's national tournament to be hosted by Grand
Valley State from May 22-25 at The Meadows in Allendale, Mich. The
individual with the low tournament score not on a winning team will
also make the national tournament.
