AFCA Top 25 Poll - October 5, 2009
ONE CHANGE IN THE TOP 10 IN AFCA DIVISION II COACHES' TOP 25 POLL
WACO, TEX.- Despite both teams winning easily this past Saturday, Central Washington and Bloomsburg (Pa.) switched places in the AFCA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll with the Wildcats taking over the No. 4 spot while the Huskies dropped to No. 5. Grand Valley State (Mich.) still owns the No. 1 spot with a 6-0 mark after a 47-21 win over Tiffin (Ohio). The Lakers are followed by Abilene Christian (Texas) at No. 2 and North Alabama at No. 3.
Three new teams entered the poll this week as Nebraska-Kearney jumps in at No. 21, Angelo State (Texas) comes in at No. 23 and North Carolina-Pembroke enters the poll at No. 25. Nebraska-Kearney hasn't been ranked in the AFCA Division II Coaches' Poll since the final poll of 2005, while Angelo State (Texas) is making its first appearance since 2005. North Carolina-Pembroke is making its first-ever appearance in the Coaches' Poll.
