COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo’s Molly Rohrer was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Women’s Basketball Academic Player of the Year.

The award winners, as well as the other First Team All-Academic members, were voted on by the conference’s sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.

All student-athletes that meet those requirements, but were not voted First Team, automatically qualify for Honor Roll.

Rohrer, a junior business management major, has a 3.85 cumulative GPA. This season, the center leads the ThunderWolves and is sixth in the RMAC in scoring with 343 total points. The Greenwood Village, Colorado native also leads her team and is second in the conference in blocked shots with 46, averaging 1.9 per game. She was named RMAC First-Team All-Academic last season, as well.

This season, Fort Lewis led the conference with three student-athletes earning First Team recognition.
