RMAC Football on National TV

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- The Colorado Mines (2-1, 4-1) at #11 CSU-Pueblo (3-0, 5-0) football game on Thursday, October 6 will be available to more than 100 million viewers around the country via four networks and ncaa.com.

The game will be live starting at 6 p.m. MDT on the CBS Sports Network (DirecTV 613, Dish Network 152, for local listings go to cbssportsnetwork.com) Altitude Sports & Entertainment (DirecTV 681, Dish Network 410, for other listings click here), Metro Sports 2 (Time-Warner in Kansas City, Mo.) and Sport South (Fox Sports South in Atlanta, Ga.).

The Orediggers versus the ThunderWolves is available in high definition. This is the first ever RMAC event that is available in HD.

Veteran play by play voice Todd Harris will call the action with former Minnesota Vikings running back Doug Chapman serving as the game analyst and Krista Blunk patrolling the sidelines.

This game is part of a six-game NCAA Division II football broadcast package.

In addition, the Chadron State (2-1, 2-3) at #4 Nebraska-Kearney (3-0, 5-0) football game airs Saturday, Oct. 8, at noon CT on NET1 and NET-HD.

Telecast live from the Lopers’ Cope Stadium, the football game marks the last contest between the two Division II in-state rivals before the Lopers leave the RMAC for the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Sportscaster Larry Punteney will provide play-by-play, with John Bishop offering color analysis.  Seth Denney will provide sideline reports.

The football game will also be webcast live in Flash on NET’s website (netNebraska.org). Webcasting of the series is a free service of NET.
