RMAC SHOOTOUT Broadcast Schedule
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- March 4, 2012 -- If you missed the live broadcast of the RMAC SHOOTOUT men's and women's basketball tournament championships, there are a few more chances to check out the action on Altitude.
For the eighth year in a row, Altitude Sports &
Entertainment, a network available in more than six million
households throughout the U.S., is airing the RMAC SHOOTOUT
championship games.
The RMAC SHOOTOUT men's championship game was played at the
Colorado State Fair Events Center in Pueblo. Colorado Mines
defeated Colorado Mesa 63-47 to win their first ever conference
tournament title.
The re-broadcast for the men's final on Altitude, the network's
flagship station is:
Sunday, March 4 at 2 a.m.
Sunday, March 4, noon
Monday, March 5, 3 p.m.
Monday, March 5, 10 p.m. (Altitude 2)
all times are MST.
Bill Hanzlik is the analyst for the men's championship game. He
spent 10 seasons in the NBA as a player with the Seattle
Supersonics and the Nuggets. In the 1997-98 season
Hanzlik was the Nuggets head coach. The Notre Dame
graduate was inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame in
2004. Hanzlik is no stranger to the RMAC. His son Robby is a
starter for the Adams State men's basketball team. He also served
on the Western State College Board of Trustees from 2003-2008 and
is currently on the Metro State Board of Trustees. Hanzlik is the
CEO of the Gold Crown Foundation.
Dan Karcher will be the play by play broadcaster for the men’s championship game.

Bryant Johnson and Jeff Storm are the broadcast team for the women’s championship.
Storm was an analyst for the RMAC SHOOTOUT for the third time. He was Adams State's women’s basketball head coach from 2000-2006. Storm is currently an instructor at ASC in the Human Performance and Physical Education department.
Jesse Kurtz is the sideline reporter for both games for the
second time. Kurtz was the sideline reporter for Denver Broncos
preseason football games in 2009 and 2010. He is also the Sports
Director at KKTV, the CBS affiliate in Colorado Springs/Pueblo,
where he has been named "Sportscaster of the Year" four times by
the Colorado Broadcaster’s Association. This past year, Kurtz
also won the national Edward R. Murrow award for sports
reporting.
