RMAC Football Game of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - October 1, 2009 - The "RMAC Football Game of the Week" between Western New Mexico and Adams State airs live this Saturday, October 3 at 1 p.m. MDT on Altitude 2, the alternate channel on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment network.

Its homecoming for the Grizzlies who won their first game of the season last week at New Mexico Highlands. The Mustangs lead the RMAC in scoring averaging more than 35 points per game. ASC is 1-2, 1-4, while WNMU is 0-3, 1-3 on the season.

Play-by-plan man Dan Karcher is the play-by-play voice of the "RMAC Football Game of the Week". Karcher has spent 25 years behind the microphone, the last 20 with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, the triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Karcher is joined by long-time RMAC coach Wayne McGinn as the color analyst. McGinn is the all-time leading rusher at Adams State College and has more than 20 years of coaching experience in the RMAC at Adams State, Western State and CSU-Pueblo. Jon Eddy patrols the sidelines. Eddy is the co-host of the "RMAC Radio Show" and is the on-field host for the Sky Sox.
