SARAH MEIER

Assistant Commissioner Sarah Meier is in her sixth year at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  Meier's main responsibilities include website maintenance, weekly press releases, creating and producing publications for the RMAC, compiling and maintaining records, updating and maintaining statistics, accounting, and assisting with conference championships.

Meier has served on several committees, including the NCAA women's soccer Central Region chair, the NCAA women's tennis RAC, the Division II CoSIDA Board of Directors, and the CoSIDA publications committee.  In 2010, she was awarded the NACWAA Division II Judith M. Sweet Committment Award, and the CoSIDA Rising Star College Division Award.

Before joining the league in April 2006, Meier spent four years as the Sports Information Director at Fort Lewis College (Durango, Colo.) from 2002-06.

Meier received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University (Minn.) in 2000, where she was a four year letterwinner on the women's basketball team.  She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from SCSU in 2002.

Meier and her husband, Nathan, have three children, Luke, Hannah and Matthew. They reside in Fountain, Colo.
