Regis University

Founded in 1877, Regis University is comprised of three schools: Regis College, The School for Professional Studies and The School for Health Care Professions.

Embracing the Jesuit mission that education is to be used "in service of others," Regis offers a liberal arts curriculum and a broad variety of majors. Course work is designed to give students the skills to answer the question, "How ought I to live?"

The total student body of 11,000 is an eclectic mix of traditional undergraduate students (1,400) and working adults, many of whom are completing their first degree or changing careers. Regis takes education beyond the original North Denver campus with sites in southeast Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder, Broomfield and Las Vegas, Nevada. Distance learning programs are also available through the Internet, televised lessons and guided independent study.

Regis University is dedicated to the Jesuit tradition of an unwavering commitment to human excellence and value-centered education. That can be verified by the meaningful pursuits of the more than 15,000 Regis alumni. More than 400 are corporate presidents or vice presidents. Hundreds more are physicians, lawyers, educators, accountants and nurses. All share a willingness to accept leadership roles and strive to make a positive impact on a changing society. That is what the Jesuit tradition is all about -- finding the best in yourself and then doing the best for the community around you. That is Regis University.
