Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, Colorado (formerly Mesa State College) is dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience in a student-centered environment featuring small class sizes and a high level of student/faculty interaction.

Founded in 1925, the University is a comprehensive regional public higher education institution offering professional, and technical programs at the undergraduate and graduate level.

The main campus, nestled between mountains and high-desert canyons, is located in the heart of Grand Junction. This dynamic and growing city offers the ideal mix of educational opportunities, urban amenities and is minutes from the best outdoor recreation in the country.

Athletics are an integral part of the collegiate experience. Student athletes compete in 23 NCAA Division II athletic teams as members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Athletic teams have won more than 70 conference championships and continue to achieve national rankings.
