John Adams 

Adams, who officiated RMAC football games from 1948-68, currently serves as the secretary/editor of the NCAA Football Rules Committee, a position he has held since 1992. During his time with the RMAC, he also officiated in the Big 6, Big 8 and Big 12 conferences, as well as the Skyline Conference and the Western Athletic Conference. From 1968-95, he served as the supervisor of football officials for the WAC. He was inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame in 2000, the College Football Hall of Fame in 1998 and the Denver Public School Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Colorado Chapter of the National Football Foundation. During his officiating career, he also taught in the Denver Public School system at West High School and Lincoln High School. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Denver in the 1940's and has conducted the RMAC Football Officials Clinic since 1968.
