Elva Martinez Dryer

Martinez Dryer is a 16-time All-American and a five-time national champion while competing in cross country and track at Western State College. As a senior she was named the NCAA II Track & Field Athlete of the Year and did not lose a cross country race her final two seasons. She was inducted into the Colorado Sportswoman Hall of Fame in 1997 and the National Cross Country Hall of Fame in 2000. Also in 2000, she was a member of the U.S. Olympic team. On the track oval, she won four straight RMAC 1500 meter outdoor championships and four consecutive RMAC indoor mile titles. The current RMAC record holder in two outdoor events and one indoor event, earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Western State in 1995.

The "RMAC Showcase" television program airs monthly on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment Network.
