RMAC Hall of Fame

Bruce Allison

Allison served as the Athletics Director at Colorado School of Mines from 1976-95.  He is a member of the United States Lacrosse Association, the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, and was the first president of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Foundation.  Born in Penn Yan, New York, Allison graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1947.  He earned a bachelor's degree from Cortlant State in 1956 and his master's degree in 1957.  Allison served two stints in the US Marine Corps from 1948-49 and 1950-52. Before arriving at Colorado School of Mines, Allison served as a coach and teacher at Camp Lejeunce, N.C. in 1951, at Cortlant State from 1952-56, Bethlehem Central High School (1956-57), and Union College (1957-76).
